Meet the pastors

Logan and Kathryn Rodgers have been serving in ministry for the past 10 years with a passion for helping people grow in their relationship with Jesus and experience the love of God in a real way. Through years of ministry, leadership, and serving the local church, they believe God has now called them to plant a life-giving church in Rogers. Their heart is to build a church where people from all walks of life can find hope, community, and purpose while growing together in faith and serving their city.

What We Believe

At Revive Church NWA, we believe Jesus changes everything.

In a world full of opinions, trends, and competing voices, we believe God's truth remains constant. We aren't interested in religion for religion's sake—we're passionate about helping people encounter Jesus, experience real life change, and discover the purpose God created them for.

We know not every Christian agrees on every secondary issue, and that's okay. What unites us is far greater than what divides us. We stand firmly on the essentials of the Christian faith: Jesus is the Son of God, He died for our sins, rose from the grave, and offers salvation to anyone who puts their trust in Him. The Bible is God's Word, the Holy Spirit is still at work today, and Jesus is coming back.

These beliefs shape everything we do as a church.

Revive Church Mission Statement

At Revive Church, we exist to Revive hearts through the life-giving power of Jesus. We Unite people into a community where everyone belongs and every story matters. We equip believers to live boldly in their faith, impacting their homes, workplaces, and neighborhoods. We Impact our city and beyond by sharing God’s love through service, outreach, and hope-filled action.

1. We Believe in One God

There is one God who exists eternally as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. God is not distant or disconnected—He is relational by nature and invites us into relationship with Him. The Trinity reveals the perfect unity, love, and community that has always existed within God Himself.

2. We Believe Jesus Is King

Jesus Christ is the Son of God, born of a virgin, fully God and fully man. He lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, rose from the grave, and ascended to heaven where He reigns today.

Jesus is not just a historical figure or a good teacher. He is Savior, Lord, and the hope of the world. Through Him we find forgiveness, freedom, purpose, and new life.

3. We Believe Salvation Is a Gift

Every person has sinned and needs God's grace. We cannot earn salvation through good works, religious activity, or self-improvement.

Salvation comes through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ alone. When we place our trust in Him, we are forgiven, made new, adopted into God's family, and empowered to live a transformed life.

4. We Believe in Sanctification and Holiness

When we say yes to Jesus, that's not the finish line—it's the starting point.

The Holy Spirit works in us to make us more like Christ. As we grow in our relationship with God, our thoughts, attitudes, and actions begin to reflect His character. We believe holiness isn't about perfection or performance; it's about becoming whole as we surrender more of our lives to Jesus.

5. We Believe in Baptism and Communion

Water baptism is the public declaration of a personal faith in Jesus. It doesn't save us, but it tells the story of what God has already done in our hearts.

Communion is a powerful reminder of Jesus' sacrifice. Through the bread and the cup, we remember His body broken for us and His blood shed for us, celebrating the grace that changed everything.

6. We Believe the Holy Spirit Is Active Today

We believe the Holy Spirit continues to move and work in the lives of believers today, just as Scripture teaches. The Baptism of the Holy Spirit is available to every follower of Jesus and is a gift of God’s grace. As we submit ourselves to Him, the Holy Spirit fills us with power, shapes our character, and equips us to live out our faith.

We believe all the gifts of the Spirit are still active and available today, including speaking in tongues, prophecy, healing, miracles, faith, and the other gifts described in Scripture (1 Corinthians 12).

We do not believe speaking in tongues is necessary for salvation, nor do we measure someone’s spirituality by whether or not they speak in tongues. At the same time, we believe this spiritual prayer language is a meaningful and powerful gift that strengthens the believer’s relationship with God.

In Acts 2, believers were filled with the Holy Spirit and empowered for bold and effective living. Because of this, we believe every believer should remain open and surrendered to the Holy Spirit — embracing His gifts, growing in His fruit, and following His direction each day.

7. We Believe God Still Heals

We believe Jesus is still in the business of healing hearts, restoring relationships, breaking addictions, renewing minds, and touching physical bodies.

While we trust God's timing and sovereignty, we never stop believing, praying, and expecting Him to move. We serve a God who still does miracles.

8. We Believe Jesus Is Coming Back

We believe Jesus will return just as He promised.

His return gives us hope in a broken world and motivates us to live with purpose today. Until that day, we are committed to helping people know Jesus and make Him known.

Those who place their faith in Christ will spend eternity with Him. We believe eternity is real, which is why the message of the Gospel matters so much.

9. We Believe the Bible Is Our Foundation

The Bible is God's inspired Word and our ultimate source of truth. It reveals who God is, who we are, and His plan to redeem the world through Jesus.

We don't build our beliefs around culture, politics, or personal opinions. We build our lives on Scripture because we believe God's Word is trustworthy, relevant, and life-giving.
